We will try and keep this simple.
We will keep a minimum amount of information on you and we will not sell or pass this information to any third party. We do not keep any financial information or sensitive information on you.
Your password is encrypted, we cannot tell you what it is. Should you forget you will need to request a new password.
When you use the Website we may ask you to provide us with certain personal information which may include your contact information (such as your name, email and postal address and telephone number(s)), or such other personal information as we reasonably require from you depending on the purpose of your enquiry (“Personal Information”).
For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998 as amended (“DPA”), we are the ‘Data Controller’ and confirm that we comply with the provisions of the DPA.
Under the DPA, you have the right to ask in writing, for a copy of the Personal Information that we hold about you. If required we will provide you with a readable copy of any Personal Information that we hold. We are allowed to charge you a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the Personal Information we hold about you.
Should you ask us to delete, correct or amend that Personal Information we will do so within a reasonable time. It is your responsibility to notify us of any updates or changes to your Personal Information. Should you ever have any questions regarding your Personal Information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
We will protect your Personal Information from unauthorised access, misuse, alteration or loss by using commercially reasonable security measures. This complies with our obligations under the DPA.
Where we have given you a password which allows access to certain areas of the Website, you are responsible for keeping this password secret. Your password is strictly confidential and can only be known and used by you, the registered user. Anyone who shares or reveals their password is violating the conditions of this Privacy Policy and your agreement with us. This will result in an automatic termination of any right to use any password protected part of the Website.
We will always do our best to protect your Personal Information. Unfortunately, due to the risk of unauthorised interception, transmission of information via the internet is not always completely secure. In common with other providers of similar services we remind you that any transmission will be at your own risk as we cannot guarantee the security of any data transmitted to our Website.
If your Personal Information is accessed by an unauthorised third party, we will not be responsible for any direct or indirect damage caused as a result of such unauthorised access.
